A Small World Encounter About Parrots

While mountain biking, I met an old couple hiking and stopped to chat. Our conversation meandered into the parrots that frequent the area and how the parrots loved to sit it their tree because they fed them. Recalling a photo taken about 10 years ago, I asked where they lived and then related that I probably have a photo/video somewhere of their tree and the parrots. When I got home, I decided to see how fast I could find that photo out of my 30,000 photos. I couldn't remember when it was except that I thought it was before covid and within the last 10 years or so. Not much help. That would be a lot of photos to search through manually. But with AVOMII Image Manager, I simply searched for: "tree parrots". Nothing. Then I searched for: "tree birds". Boom! 48 photos show up in thumbnails instantly, and within seconds I identify 2 of which were the one's I wanted from August 2016. So I double clicked one of the photos, Explorer opened to that photo and I found the 2 photos and a short video of the parrots squawking and moving around in the tree. In less than a minute, I found an old memory that I could share with the couple and build a relationship with them by sending them the video and photos, strengthening a sense of community in a recently fire raged area of southern California. This software makes it so easy to find photos that I'm more likely to try finding a photo and do something with it rather than just give up. What good is it to take tons of photos if you can't easily find them years later? Now I can find them - fast!
